Joe Cunningham Ford, Parksville (Vancouver Island), B. C., May 25, 2008. At the time, the
Ford was named "
Egghead." Entrants voted to award the car the "
1st Place, Pre-1960's Stock" trophy. The 2007 award was "
1st Place, Pre-1960's Stock, and the 2005 award was "
2nd Place, Pre-1960's Stock."

Ford won the "
2nd Place, 1950's Restored or Original" trophy. At the 2005 show, the car won "
2nd Place, Best Engine Bay."

Concours Classic 2006 at Minter Gardens, in Rosedale, B.C., July 16, 2006. This prestigious annual car show consists of 150 stock domestic and English classic cars, displayed in the lush surroundings of
Minter Gardens. The 1956
Ford was very fortunate to win the "
1st-In-Class, 1950's Domestic Cars" trophy. In 2005, it won the "
3rd-In-Class, 1950's Domestic Cars" trophy.
Old Car Sunday in the Park, Fraser River Regional Heritage Park, in Mission, British Columbia, (Father's Day) 2006. This is a Vancouver area favourite event - an annual, family picnic, usually attended by about 1,200 collector cars. In 2005, "
Lemonade 10 Cents" was awarded the "
1st Place, Dad's Choice Ford" trophy.
